  1. Treat high-load sewage

The MBBR process has stable performance under high load conditions and can be used in multiple stages to treat sewage.

2. Treat low-load sewage

Some units discharge domestic sewage and flushing water together, resulting in a low concentration of organic matter in domestic sewage, which is not suitable for ordinary activated sludge treatment.

3. Denitrification effect

The biofilm in MBBR is mainly fixed on the filler, and the sludge retention time has nothing to do with the hydraulic retention time. Microorganisms such as nitrifying bacteria and nitrosating bacteria that have a longer growth time and a small specific growth rate can grow on the filler, thereby enhancing Denitrification ability. The denitrification process is divided into two stages, nitrification and denitrification.
