Product Features
Scientific prescription and quick biofilm forming.
Various vital elements are mixed into the raw material of bio media to improbe the hydrophillicity and promote microforms growth, as well as the cell activity. With the vital elements feeding, the microforms propagate rapidly and form the biofilm tissue quicker.
Large specific surface area and biomass.
Special geometrial structure and surface process technic endow the bio media with the largest specific surface area, which creats a safe and comfortable micro environment for the microforms, as well as sufficient room for their propagation.
Easy fluidization and high mass transfer efficiency.
The appropriate specific gravity(0.97-0.98 the empty media and ≈1 when with the biofilm) makes the bio media fluidized easily and saves the power consumption.
The special honeycomb zigzag structure makes the media flows freely in the water. The bio medias impact and cut the air bubbles contaantly in the water to enhance the oxtgen utilization and the contact frequency between sewage, oxygen and bio media . High mass transfer efficiency that can speed up the degardation of pollutant matters.
Flexible dosage and high load resistance.
Don't need reconstruction of the treatment plant. The bio medias could be directly poured into the available pools to improve the effluent quality and enlarge the sewage treatment load. The system can bo regulated just by the dosage of the bio medias.

Distinguish of biofilm-forming level.
Visual judgment:
The biofilm distributes on the surface of media evenly, and more closer to the media surface the more compact the biofilm becomes. At the same time, the color of the media becomes dark. These appearances mark the biofilm formation has stepped to the mature period.
Microscopic judgement:
The biofilm's structure is compact and the microform species are diversified .The majority bacteria are infusorium, vorticella, epistylis, etc. And there are a few rotifera and swimming ciliates.These appearances mark the biofilm has formed completely.

Working Process

The principle of MBBR process is to use the basic principle of biofilm method, by adding a certain number of suspended carriers to the reactor to improve the biomass and biological species in the reactor, so as to improve the treatment efficiency of the reactor. Because the density of the filler is close to that of water, it is completely mixed with water during aeration, and the growth environment of microorganisms is gas, liquid and solid. The collision and shearing of the carrier in water make the air bubbles smaller and increase the utilization rate of oxygen. In addition, there are different biological species inside and outside each carrier, with some anaerobes or facultative bacteria growing inside and aerobic bacteria on the outside, so that each carrier is a micro-reactor, so that nitrification and denitrification exist at the same time. As a result, the treatment effect is improved.
